He’s been involved in the creation of various businesses over the years including video franchising, commercial vehicles, direct marketing, advertising & publishing.
His early management experience is extensive having progressed through junior, middle, and senior management in advertising & marketing, to director of sales with a leading medical equipment and pharmaceutical supplies plc.

In 2005 Laurence founded Avagio Limited, a publishing company specialising in consumer and business magazines which were distributed regionally throughout the UK. Despite some very challenging times during the financial crisis of 2008, which saw the business close; the core brands themselves survived and are now owned by one of the UK's leading publishers Northcliffe Media.
Laurence's story relating to this period is moving and very emotional as he explains the highs and lows associated with running a million pound business and then losing it. Despite the heartache of losing a million and ending up with nothing as recently as 2009, his desire to never give up, move forward and build it all over again is unprecedented.
In 2010 he launched a networking business, which is expanding dramatically in South West Wales. In 2011 he launched a creative marketing agency and in 2012 U3 Media was created as a research & development business for television. Later this year his latest book on personal development gets published, with an autobiography also planned.
He’s won awards at every sales level, broken national records, built dismantled and re-built successful sales teams, bounced back from insolvency and maintained his entrepreneurial free spirit throughout. His energy is boundless which is reflected in his other coaching roles as a qualified Football Coach, Welsh Rugby Union Rugby Coach and Rugby Referee!
